Yes, I assumed, he maid claims... can't you tell the difference? I mean, I clearly pointed out that I was making an assumption while he portrayed himself as the one who knew. Now, even if he turned out to be right that there is no form of government imposed salary insurance in the U.S., there where several other assumptions in his reasoning that was incorrect. A welfare system is about so much more than just unemploymency benefits and the workers' compensation program is for protecting workers' benefits (such as retirement pension, disability by work injury, etc.), especially in the case of bankruptcy. Atleast I made it clear what I was making assumptions about.
