if it was a patch i agree but as i said i was under the impression it was a port. and kudos to acube for trying to get that license but i really think they should have at least talked to ainc about it before starting the port. it would have helped the situation immensely.
I do not see any problem with that port and I do not think its non-existence would have helped the situation at all. The port never got released and as such it's non infriging on any contract. What a developer does in his spare time for himself, even on source code he/she does not control is his business provided that it stays on his hard-drive and for his eyes only and does not get "handed out" to a few friends.
