Which brings up some rather interestingly absurd scenarios. Hyperion certainly don't want their defense to become *too* successful --- if they somehow end up with the OS, *and* the AI(W)->Itec transfer is declared invalid, then the (now unrelated) Itec suddenly has a perfectly valid and rather short contract that says "we pay, you deliver", as well as perfect legal proof that they did indeed try to pay, and were denied delivery....
