It's their release, so they came up with the release date.
If they were late, Amiga should have warned them.
If they were even later, Amiga should have taken action. E.g. lawsuit for being late instead of trademarks.

Can you imagine a car rental company working this way? Oh, you late? I'll sue you in a couple of years for not filling it up before returning it.
