Ok, then let me rephrase that to he said that he would never add it period (and being the WinUAE maintainer until he hands over the reigns, this will remain true).

You still have to ask yourself what the point is in adding a "PPC" cpu core into UAE anyway. UAEs main speed benefits come from the fact it uses a JIT, and that it ignores a lot of the internal timings to speed things up. Given that UAE doesn't emulate an 040/060 at the real speed of an 040/060, there seems little point in wanting to bolt on a PPC core to emulate a "faster" processor slower than the "slower" processor already found in the (emulated) machine.
