I doubt it would fail only from PAL/NTSC EClock differences, only that the timing would be a bit skewed on whichever one it was assumed not to be.
However, I'm sure you're right that it calculates note event triggers or durations or something else much lower resolution based on the value that nominally fits in a 16-bit word for PAL/NTSC rates. It's still a rather poor assumption to have made though, IMNSHO... _________________
