I wish they had set them to SMART REFRESH, then the whole discussion wouldn't have popped up.

The problem with Opaque movement is that this generates LOADS of refresh events. Since this is very much concerned with graphics library, it is completely emulated (at this point; it won't stay this way, but hey...)

We're experimenting with improvements for this on a purely conceptional level (besides porting to PPC).

The easiest way to fix it is using smart refresh windows for starters.
