@Mikey_C

I voted yes too, basically for the fun of it and because I asked for a stream in that other thread albeit jokingly.

Seems AmigaWorld TV will be on air, looking at the poll and all the reactions.

@Mikey_C

There was a proposal the other day for someone to start an "Amiga" TV station. This is precisely the sort of material that would help that cause. The Amiga community reminds me of Australians out bush who for a long time relied on radio to educate their kids, these days it is satellite comms.

Many of us have been on the outer of building things Amiga for many many years and such things can be daunting, for instance my dealer lives about 16000 km away so returning my machine for a small fix just ain't on.

If we are going to start videoing (and I think that is a great idea) why don't we get some assistance from some video type user groups in our areas and try and get them interested in the A1 at the same time. I'll bet they would love the opportunity for their stuff to be on the net, let's all think a little smarter than we used to.

Great idea, maybe a list of popular subject matter can be collected.

@Mikey_C

I've just got broadband, anyone have a relay?

We could have a live broadcast.

sorry mate.

However, I did get attacked by barbary apes twice this afternoon me and my mate chris did the "1000 steps", including the parts with no hand rails. One nastly little one ripped chris's shirt and cut his arm and another one jumped on my head and tried to bite me.

But I'll be back around for big bash 3

Edit:

As for the camera... that looking down over irish town they have almost finished recobbling the road and laying new drains / water pipes.

@JurassicC

I was wondering what they were doing

Do you know the plaza as you look at it is new

It used to look vastly different before! it was raised and you had to go up steps to get to it
It was all white washed and inside there used to be open air cafe's and towards the end on both sides there used to be toilets, on the left, ladies and on the right gents, with either side having a small kiosk facing out to the road side, whilst the toilets were on the inside.

Thanks about the camara, it brings me a touch closer to home

@Mikey_C

Just confirming that I WILL be able to make it on Sunday, I've booked Monday off work to a) recover from the 450 mile round trip and b) to start editing everything together !

See you all there
