| If OS4 PDA would someday exist, I really hope it's similar to this device:
Qtek 9000
I currently have Qtek 9k, and it's awesome despite the fact it is running Windows Mobile 5.0. It has tri-band GSM/3G phone, WLAN, Bluetooth, Mega pixel camera and another VGA camera for video calls and weights less than 300g. |

| Culturecom (HK) had released Linux PDA based on V-Dragon CPU (only for Chinese market). This CPU is based on PowerPC 405. Is this PDA based on IBM Reference design?
I hope the new AmigaOS PDA can use wireless charger (up to 10 watts) from SplashPower:
From MobileMag.com:
Splashpower, the emerging global major in evolving wireless solutions for portable, has added two new products to its offering line. The company will be shipping its Multi SplashPad and the Single SplashPad, which are based on Splashpower's patented Paraflux technology. The products are tipped to upscale the power and capability of many portable devices including nextgen mobile phones. The key features of the Multi SplashPad is that it will simultaneously charge several portable devices; like mobile phones, MP3 players, digital camera and PDAs, by simply placing them on the pads surface. It will not require any device to be plugged in, and is projected as a time saving solution. The slim and lightweight Single Splash Pad, as the name implies, will pave the way for charging one device at a time. This is billed as the perfect entry point product for those who are switching over to wireless chargers.

Though this mobile phone PDA doesn't have PPC but Intel CPU but it exists as 2 to 3 different models whith possible 4 OS (NOT AOS4)!
It looks much like the Nokia communicator 9300, but got a much better keyboard, bigger display, Wifi, Bluetooth, IrDA.
It comes with either Linux, Windows Mobile, Palm OS or Symbian OS. It's the Symbian version I want. It looks like this is the successor of the Psion/Motorola REVO-GSM PDA (which never made it out of prototype design)
Check it here: http://www.road-gmbh.de/en/index.html
AOS4 on this one would be great!!!!

| Is there a single PPC powered PDA? Will there ever be?
If Hyperion have AOS ported to a PDA then they've had to probably port to ARM no?
Ok. Going back to my happy place now. We have no weiners!!! We have no bread. And if we did it wouldn't be toasted. _________________ Leo Nigro, CTO Commodore USA, LLC Opinions expressed are my own and not those of C= USA. What are you going to do with those eleven copies of AMOS Professional? Sponsoring the publisher perhaps?

I just found this video of UAE running on a PDA (flash required). I think this thread is the right place for it. Last edited by elwood on 28-Jun-2006 at 01:59 PM.

I just (last week) got a new Palm Tungsten T|X. There's a couple versions of UAE for it as well (PalmUAE and MyUAE). I've tried the former. It's nice, runs pretty well, but the size of your harddrive file is quite limiting as it loads the entire file into memory to increase performance. One of these days I'm going to see if I can get FinalWriter running, though I'll probably have to leave out the dictionary and thesaurus. |

not a bad price aswell. This would make a good starting point if OS4 was on it.
