@Gazelle

I am having trouble figuring out how to make the change since the HardDrive is wiped and the CD won't work. That is why I need the directory structure to use the cli to make proper assign. I am not handy with the cli. I have tried list and ls but they don't work.
I could make individual assigns back to the cd if I knew where on the cd to make those assigns. I believe they are buried in something like Install or AOS4.1 or something.
Thanks,
John Paul

Yes but I don't know how to get there to make the change. Harddisk is wiped.
If I knew the directory structure I could make the assigns back to the CD. Where is sys:l on the CD?
Thanks,
JP

@cope

I don't have the CD, try CD0:System/C/dir or CD0:Workbench/C/dir

Doesn't the new shell has autocompletition? Just type CD0: and than [TAB] (multiple times).

Or disable DH0 in the early startup screen and the CD should boot and you can take a look at it.

If you find the C directory on the CD I would relabel DH0 and reboot.

CD0:System/C/relabel DRIVE DH0 NAME Dont_name_me_SYS

Bump*
I have tried booting from the second cd drive.
I have tried booting from an old boot disk and an old install disk
I get a grey screen
If I type in assign l: cd1: path
I get assign unknown command
If I type in assign:
I get a requester asking to assign assign:
It is like only some commands are recognized
cd1: gets me to the cd
but I cant list or ls

I am open to suggestions
