No, I don't think that's the case. The article in TAM was an exclusive one, they've said nothing before or after it. Still there are no faces to connect to Troika, which in my opinion is really really weird.
They way they're handling things really isn't doing them any good. The thruth might suck, but it's better than silence...

Hi zerohero,
Maybe, if they fail, they don't want to be necklaced (Ref. S.A.) for eternity. |

That would be quite plausible a scenario, actually. _________________

Only a homepage, unfortunately no "faces" there. I have no idea about the others. How was this rap-star called again?
Hell, even IWin put an address on the contact-site of their company page.

Let me counter that with an old swedish saying; "speak is silver, silence is golden".
Seriously, from your own arguments here; you condemn them if they say something (broken "promises", remember?) and you condemn them if they don't (anything is better than silence, right?). Whatever they do, it won't please you for as long as they don't actually deliver, right? So, if they can't deliver right now, the better option seems to be to not say anything at all since even if it doesn't please you, atleast it doesn't hurt their credibility like broken promises do, wouldn't you agree?_________________ Sammy Nordström, A.K.A. Now you're grasping after straws. They did say something, I don't condemn them for that. As we all know by now it didn't happen the way they wanted it, and they went silent, that's what I condemn them for. If they'd said nothing at all in the first place I guess everyone would still be looking to Alan Redhouse for more A1's.
So, you see, they chose to say something, and they weren't able to deliver. Then after that they went silent. Not very good business practice, if you ask me.
It would please me if they came forward, saying something about the delay, maybe even blaming the fact that they've had to change the sound system chosen for the board. At least it would be more credible than silence.
Regards, joachim Birging
Edit: Condemn might be a too powerful word to use even, it's more a disappointment with how they handle their comunication with the people wanting the board. Last edited by zerohero on 28-Mar-2006 at 08:31 PM.

Hi zerohero,
A live 24/7 video feed on the internet of the guy trying to make the Amy '05 MB, with swearing not being bleeped out (yes, not for the faint of heart) is what we want.
Nothing short of that will do. |

Amazingly, I hadn't read the START of this thread, as was only called into it and a few others because of PMs and/or Abuse Reports.
1. Enough trolling, baiting, and other idiocy already. Several bits removed in this thread. I seriously dislike editing posts, but this 'Atheist war' (and his counterparts, he's not entirely/solely at fault here) is enough already. You can disagree all you'd like, but stop the attacks for no point and the TOS violations. Remember, if you can't play well with others, you're going to wind up playing with yourself
2. That was hysterical, Rogue's comment about a soldering iron and RoSH compliance. Thanks,

That's a really nice box design concept!
I don't suppose you have a bigger rendered picture of that??? I'd love to A3 print that puppy out ;) _________________ It's not the question that's the problem, it's the problem that's the question. |

You should read Moobunny then.

I think we should keep our eyes on the prize. Until something is shipping and we can buy it why bother with all this? All this vapid talk does is bring out the ugly side of the INTJ personalities around here.
And like Rogue said, Hyperion didn't invest that much time and effort into OS4 to simply thow it in a dust bin and give up when things got tough._________________ ExecSG Team Lead |

Not very easy, but not impossible. I'd either have to implement a snap-to-grid feature or draw millions of very small circle-objects! _________________ Happiness is mandatory. MindSpace: MindMaps and UML diagrams for OS4
