As others have suggested before in this thread, it would be an idea to contact Hyperion before trying to commercially exploit their product. From a strictly legal standpoint, I doubt that it would be in your right to market your computer as an "AmigaOS4 PPC System" with permission from neither Amiga Inc. nor Hyperion. Furthermore, even if you would somehow manage to boot AmigaOS4 on that thing without help from Hyperion, you would still have the problem of not being able to distribute AmigaOS4 nor any AmigaOS4 ROM code with it.
These kind of marketing stunts without even having contacted Hyperion first can and will damage your relations with Hyperion. My suggestion would be to contact Hyperion as soon as possible to come to atleast some kind of understanding before things get out of hand. If an AmigaOS4 enabled computer is what you're aiming to produce and sell, a good relationship with Hyperion is crucial. Please don't do another "BBRV". _________________ Sammy Nordström, A.K.A. I don't think it is entirely unrealistic to ask why I haven't heard from your project before. Have you contacted us?_________________ Seriously, if you want to contact me do not bother sending me a PM here. Write me a mail |

FWIW, a PowerPC 750/7400 kernel will never run on a 405 because they have totally different MMU's. In addition, the 405 has no FPU so you would need to do a complete soft-float build (which is not publically available).
All I see in the picture is a small PowerPC board that tries to unsuccessfully boot the firmware updater (see the name of the image being displayed), which is an absolute no-brainer on any platform running U-Boot.
Matter of fact is that I never heard from this project, and the person in question ignores me.

Btw, have you ever been contacted by a Mrs. Kathy Elliott from 'Mystical Rose Technologies'?

Not anything Amiga in it or they'll be paying Amiga Inc money just for the name licence.

As they probably cannot use the amiga name a good idea would be, as somebody said before in the trhead, use girl names, are attractive , they inspire confidence and it has something to see with Amiga (as amiga is female friend in spanish) and if the names are of goddesses or mitological girls better
LIKE:
-Meletea ( a good one because means meditation ) -Euterpe ( Another analogy because means delights " remember When computing was fun?" ) -Brunilda -Isis -Nefertiti -Cleopatra -Hera -Casandra -Galatea -Calisto -Dafne -Nomia -Minerva
And other that are good also because start and end with "A" like AmigA:
-Artemisa -Amarisia -Adrastea -Aedea -Aretusa . . . And so on.........

Your enthusiasm in inventing names for unexisting vapourware reminds me of the infamous Amy-face contest. Now please spend your time on rendering some cases for that board. Don't forget to put some huge boing-balls on the face-plate. _________________ This signature is in the middle of a much needed facelift! |

It´s "poquito" and it´s a diminutive of a little, or you mean "pequeńito" that is a diminutive of small

Are not invented names. The names are of Greek, Roman, Egyptian, german mythology. And if i´m boring what damage i do to you in kill time thinking in possible names for a possible product (any product not only that which I fervent belive that is a joke)?_________________ No PowerPC, No Fun Make Amiga Great Again |

Hey Dave what makes you think audio is important?
Maybe this is a mediabox for the def? Maybe audio is optional? A silent mediaplayer of sort..
