OS4 on "high-end servers"? What's the sense in that?

Yes, it does. However, this version was never released.

@polka.
I was quoting AmigaOS4.0 official website. But it was without point (see my edit)

@Rogue
That's a definitively clear answer

I think everybody would agree that "there is something on the way". The question is just "when will we be able to buy it"?

@rickardr

What about the name "Avalon". For me it's very cool and his mean is very powerful.

I hope all of this will be true and we count with another Amiga system in the closer future.

Bye!

Oh My gawd!

Well, you can count the youth of today out as OS4 users, there's no way they'd wait!

(count out Vista too, guess they'd get Macs )

Like the Island that does just appear for certain people?

@polka.

Btw, have you ever been contacted by a Mrs. Kathy Elliott from 'Mystical Rose Technologies'?

It does seem to exist ?;

With regard to Vectra or Calibra - whatever the name..

Well, there already has been a computer named the Vectra. Hewlett Packard, circa 1995, had a model called the Vectra VL, it was a Pentium I desktop machine.

@AmigaBlitter

Ahhhh, come on.... The spelling is different. "AmiDream" versus "DreAmiga".

"DreAmiga" flows off the tongue much more smoothly than "AmiDream", don't you think? Say it with me..... DreAmiga, DreeeeeAmiga, DreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeAmiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Nice, eh?

Side Note: I see you're from Rome, my favorite city in Europe. I could spend days just standing outside the Pantheon soaking in the scenery. BTW, Rome and Cincinnati are sister cities, we have a bronze staue of Romulus and Remus with the she-wolf to prove it!

Well, heck, in that case I reiterate my new machine names for those who will soon be revealing their new hardware: DreAmiga or A-Dream. Or maybe Novamiga for a new beginning.

To anyone with hardware REALLY on the way who is interested, I'm very easy to buy off!

Considering some things we've seen in this thread, how's about "broma" for the name?
