Thanks, I could raise the same question about you.

Btw, alternative expressions for "ejaculative prayer" could be

-devout ejaculation
-little prayer
-quick prayer
-hurried prayer

But maybe you didn't know that, being an Atheist?

Could AOS4.0, stripped down, be a RTOS?

How about on say 2.6 GHz G5, is that fast enough for standard AOS4.0 to be RTOS capable?

I know you don't want to think about this, but, AOS4.2. Are there any plans at all as to how long after 4.0, it might be out in?

Do you have a threshold of how many more Amigas by the various producers have to be sold before you start on 4.2 or is it a go, no matter what?

Sell us an upgrade/bug fixes 4.0a edition, if it will help to push you into making 4.2 sooner rather than later!!!!

I'm sure after you learnnt about that being possible to be used in common conversation you were waiting ten years with glee to be able to use it.

Maybe I should start a poll to gage the opinion of people on here if you "innocently" inserted that to be offensive or not.

Here's some more, in case you run out.
Q+A verbal intercourse
Erect sales spike
Amiga market penetration

I am sure that you will keep on "scanning" each of my posts until you can find a tiny possibility to call something "offensive" just to be able to press that AR-button.
You must feel really unjustly treated with those 10 Abuse reports, and your account being suspended many many times already.
Honestly, after your last reappearance here (after your last suspension), I really had the impression that you were a bit "more relaxed" now. (Ok, disregarding your rant in the bbrv-thread). Of course, I was mistaken. I guess it's just the same as with Helgis. Some things will never change... *sigh*

edit: corrected number of abuse reports from 9 to 10

Save it buddy.

Everyone here knows who's who and what's what.

Quit using the crass innuendo already. It's old, unlike your juvenile dispositon.

Hi Everyone,

To everyone that's still here....

The folks at Hyperion Entertainment (and others) have put thousands of hours into this (risking passing by alternate employment opportunities AND not even getting paid for that which they've done), and the fact that they're STILL here, shows that they firmly believe in what they're doing, so it's the least we can do not to leave at this point in time, things really are looking good now.

So it's a little more expensive to get an Amiga NG.
So it's a little rough around the edges.
So a couple of the personalities involved in it overall are considered less than honorable. (But, do you really know that for certain? Isn't there "always one in every crowd" anyhow?)

What are you buying into? Well, a somewhat underpowered computer, by todays standards, but it's eloquence that you're getting.

I say, That's worth it!

Actually, that's quite a rebuttal (< --- keeping in with the crassness) in post #41, too. Ironically appropraiate.

@NutsAboutAmiga

You know that at one time Amiga Inc. did said they were going to use the Linux kernal in AmigaOS....
This was about 6 or 7 years ago; before they said they were going to use the QNX kernal.

Hi fatman2021,

That was a very stupid idea.

I'm so glad it fell through.

AOS IS an OS, not something to float over a bloated SW engine.

So, can someone please clarify whether this is going to be a Q&A with the Frieden Brothers, and thus the title of this thread is wrong, OR whether it is going to be a Q&A with Hyperion (i.e. whoever DOES speak for Hyperion these days), in which case Hans-Joerg's interjection makes no sense...

Personally, I'd be much more interested in the latter --- for questions such as "So, do you agree with McBill that the buyback clause has been activated and paid for?" or "Are you aware of any potential hardware maker turning over half a million bucks per year already?". Or "What is the number of currently pending lawsuits between Amiga Inc and Hyperion, and who were they initiated by?" or maybe the milder "So, do you still speak to Amiga Inc directly, or is all communication done through lawyers?"

One, or both of the Friedens, as indicated in the "news" article:

Question for Hyperion:

Can someone explain what the legal action is about between Hyperion and Amiga Inc? Were their payment offers not enough to break even? Can you give any additional information to let us know whats happening? Is there an end in sight (one way or another)?

@fatman2021

That was the Gateway Amiga Inc. They were going to use QNX at first but then they changed to Linux because Linux would be cheaper. IIRC they wanted to make some kind of "AmigaOS" linux distro. It's a good thing they don't own AmigaOS anymore...

As umisef already pointed out, questions regarding the "legal dispute" and "buy-back clause" between Amiga Inc. and Hyperion will certainly be the most interesting and we can already presume that they will be among the most popular questions.
These are questions that should be best answered by the "management", e.g. Ben Hermanns, and not the programmers. Especially in view of Rogue's statement that he "doesn't speak for Hyperion".

edit, possibly the most relevant quote in this context:
Quote:
McEwen: "I will say that on a personal note, that I have had great conversations with the Friedens and I have enjoyed working with them, and I look forward to the opportunity of working with them as we move forward. The issues that we are dealing with are not with them."

If the Frieden's still have a good relationship with Amiga Inc., I can assume that they wouldn't be too happy to comment on any legal battles between Hyperion and its management and Amiga Inc.
