Thanks for the order! IBAN payments usually take around 3-5 days to arrive.

Thanks, that will help us out, I have been so busy with work that I haven't had the time to check out our IBAN number!

Currently, it's also Alchimie6 meeting in France (from 21 to 23th of October)

=> A bunch Totalamiga 24 issues (and few back issues) + few Totalamiga Archive Disc # 1 will be available for amiga users from France / Swiss / Belgium... etc...

Thanks yet to my friends Batteman & Wickedwinz for their help (fully appreciated, yet many thanks !!). Alchimie6 is actually the main amiga annual event for France, something like Amiga Big Bash in UK.

I see. I tend to prefer the more technical articles but it is good that they cover all sorts of topics.

> bought two issues of #13 - one for friend and me -- $32.00 USD.
> Umm, a little too rich for me!

Ouch that was quite steep. That must before the US and Canadian copies were printed in Vancouver. Its probably a better price for you now.

> What 'other' commercial magazine?

The ones that *used* to exist but sadly are no longer around.

I'm glad to hear from you! Haven't from you on the Yahoo list in a while!

Still there but as my A1 and OS4-pre seem too be working OK, I have not had much to complain about recently

I have also been busy learning to code in C and then actually doing some coding.

All the best,

Bill.

@sicky

It would be most impressive to go from 600 to 1000 in one issue. Seems a shame that it's only 600, haven't read for a while but is excellent, content wise is as good as AmigaActive although less pretty without the glossy colour.

The ADSL one wasn't of interest to me either at the time it was first printed as we could not get ADSL in most parts of the UK then. That "uninteresting" article became invaluable later when ADSL did eventually arrive. Even though written for classic Amigas I managed to get my A1 online via a router straight away.

It came across as too technical for me!

It's always hard to get the balance right as we have readers who range from beginners right through to the highly technical. In each issue of Total Amiga we try to include a mixture of articles so hopefully there's something to interest everyone.

That's strange, I didn't think it had ever worked out quite that expensive (single issues to the USA used to be 6 UKP which shouldn't ever have been much above 12 USD each).

The current price is 4.50 UKP (about 8.50 USD) for a single issue (including postage to the USA or Canada) and 15 UKP (29 USD) for a four issue subscription (USA/Canada). Thanks to Greg Condon, we are now printing the magazine in Canada as well as the UK which has allowed us to reduce our pricing there and in the USA.

I hope you'll consider giving us another try,

Robert

Edit: Just noticed AmigaKit had already replied. Thanks for taking the order, I'll add a note to the Total Amiga web site that you can take orders via bank transfer.

@all

From what I gather, the poll is pretty accurate in terms of numbers of new subscriptions.

Whilst it falls way short of 1000 subscribers, I am very grateful to those of you who have taken the time to subscribe recently.

A big thanks also to our existing subscribers (wouldn't want you to feel left out)

Best Wishes

Mikey C

@Mikey_C

Well by the looks of it you got 35 new subscribers thanks to this thread (roughly) so it's all good

You can make that 1 more when my financial situation improves (early next year)
