My condolences go out to Dave’s family and friends. May he live on through his contributions to all of the various projects for which he was involved.

My heartfelt condolences to his family.

We're losing too many of the old guard around here these days....

Thanks Dave for all you have done for us...

My condolences go to his wife, Lorraine (your name is really a dream for us...), and to all the Dave’s family.

My condolences...

He is the third developer of Amiga who died.

He gave us for real a marvellous gift... A dream come true: Amiga!

P.S.: I said he was the "third developer" who we missed, because not only the great Jay Miner, but also the little funny Mitchy the dog partecipated the development of Amiga...

Strange how a great computer had so many incredible fathers...

My condolences to Dave's friends and family as well.

The obituary mentions that Dave is survived by his wife Lorraine. Is it safe to say that this is where the original name of the Amiga came from?

Both the name "Lorraine" and "Amiga" orginated with Dave.
