If Amiga.Inc consits of 1 person, how is it possible that Fran Dramis is sitting in the Advisory Board?

This man is not a ghost.

No - but perhaps the one person at AInc is so "overcompetent" (as in "overqualified"), that only an big "Advisory Board" is thought to be able to help...

From this, I see Amiga, Inc. at a trade show with a real product to sell, and getting media coverage with it. It's a good indicator of a promising future.

I really like your irony!

the "Digital Convergence" that Fleecy Moss spoke of years ago now is coming. Increasingly, applainces are made to interconnect with each other, from desktops, settops, handhelds, cellphones, you name it. Personally, I'd prefer that the underpinnings of this convergence included Amiga IP as early as possible, instead of trying to squeeze desktop-only AmigaOS into things after the fact...

Someone here said that McBill used the same hollow phrases as 8 years ago.

Well, 8 years ago he promised that AA/DE would be merged with AmigaOS 4.x in AOS version 5.0.

Now I read that he said that AA/DE v2 = AOS5.

From the video we can see that it is NOT an operating system, it just seems to be an Linux application.

So he lied 8 years ago when he said that there will be an "transformation path" from OS 3.x -> OS 4.x -> OS 5; and he lied now, when he said that this would be an OS.

It's not an OS and it got nothing to do with OS 4.x.

How could it - with no hardware for OS4.x available (even not for AInc or their pretended development team)...

Well, I'd say I saw enough of it to state that I'm not interested in any way.

"Better than OS X" - muahaha...

You are right..
by time going by, my opinion of all this beeing a conspiracy game to bury what's left of Amiga becomes stronger and stronger. AInc working with MS is a sort of little hint 4 me..

Wow. I disappeared from the Amiga scene for a while, only to come back to this "big" announcement. For a company that is trying to put Amiga back on the map, it looked more like a demonstration for a new style potato peeler at a home show than a piece of software that is better than OS X

Oh well. I guess it keep reliving the glory days with the A3000 I just picked up for a little while longer

You have no idea how bad that was to me (and a lot os us too). That's more like some crappy PDA with some even crappier OS running what he calls (forgive me for saying this) an Amiga product! Ooooouuuchhhh!!!

( Sorry... this must be lack of sleeping... )

@Plaz

Yes like 3 or more times for me now, I’m trying to find out the part where he says what makes product different from the competing product.

And I’m having serious problems seeing what so great about colour cycling image in the background, compare to any colour cycled picture in Deluxe Paint IV.

Some how think his business basically is the last part where he tells every one can develop some thing for his product as long as revenue is shared.

I hope developers are not that stupid

I was about to say that Bill McEwen not only was in an extreme rush, but he sucks on this video like all other videos of him...

There's nothing impressive about the guy...

Helge when will you stop your extreme outbursts in black or white.......the world has many shades of grey you know. Only a few months ago you spoked hopefully and dearly of the future, and now you suddenly seems so hatefull, that i honestly think you deal with this Amiga buisnees in a very unmature and very unhealthy way.

It's so utterly personal the things you say.....to the extreme!. If I was Bill McEwen I would be scared of you, because you're the type who suddenly becomes a stalker or even worse attacks the man physically. Get a damn life man, and stop being so quick in your judgment about things you don't know the whole story of.

And stop blaming everything on one man.....and STOP BEING CHILDISH

Take the amiga destiny for what it is.......NOT UP TO YOU!!!

Let it go and start doing something else......buy a mac dude, and start using a machine that's everything the amiga should be today, but sadly aint........GET OVER IT!!
