Perhaps part of the bounty money could be paid to get the latest MUI to AOS4, rather than WASTING 1-2 months of development time when "porting" sputnik to a OLDER MUI !!!!

New (fast but quickly) bounty for porting the latest MUI to AOS4?

OWB 2.19 is out

Can someone please explain to me why the revision number is 2.19 when it's still "beta software" ?

I thought it was pretty common to make the first "finnished" and stable version number 1?

Just a thought.. :)

Version numbers are a fiction of the software author, mainly aimed at selling you the latest upgrade - they don't have any real meaning, outside what you place on them. Which is partly why I personally don't bother with version numbers, and instead just have sequential "release" numbers (like r3).

No, we know it already. The product is currently sold under the name "AmigaOS 4.1".

There is also an outdated product page from Hyperion that showcases "AmigaOS4.0". On this website, they sometimes write it with a space (AmigaOS 4.0) and sometimes without one (AmigaOS4.0). I don't know what is the correct spelling, but maybe it's not so important.

@polka.

We're yet to know if they have the rights to sold it under that name, something that MorphOS doesn't

Currently, they are allowed to sell it under the name "AmigaOS 4.1". Otherwise there would have been an interim injunction.
