@TheDaddy
5800 series is still unsupported as far as I know. Support should come eventually (I presume).
One word though: overkill

@DAX

Awesome card though!

It's so big that I had to change the case and get an Antec 300, the card is a monster, far too long!

@All

Hi,

I have published a new video on to YouTube for everyone's entertainment.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ng9HdvVsKrU

An Introduction to AmigaOS 4.1. It can be viewed in HD as well if you have the horsepower.

Alternatively AmigaOS users can download the application direct from:

http://www.amigaos.net/packages/IntroAOS4.lha (9mb)

I hope users who run the application find playback performance better than mine with SAM 460 and no hardware acceleration.

Thanks to all those who have contributed with imagery over the last few months, and of course thanks to Martin Merz for the great AmigaOS icon set.

Enjoy the vid!

Nice Promo. Sadly that without sound .. a bit boring to watch fancy stuff without sound :) But promo are nice. With a bit more action and faster moving, and some nice music it will be not bad at all should to say :)

@kas1e

Yeah I'd love to stick some faithless, basement jaxx or other dance group on top of it, but YouTube is an ass when it comes to copyrighted music so rather not bother.

Other Video hosting sites might be more relaxed about it.

@djrikki

Very nice vid made in Hollywood their!
No music however!

I just recently crossed a mile stone and now have over 200 subscribers to my channel, I was even more impresived with some of my stats, my channel has been viewed over 10,000 times, my most viewed video I'm a Mac, I'm a PC, Im AMIGA has had over 220,000 hits and my video total view account is over 820,000 not bad for just an Amiga related video channel.
i'm amazed by them stats!

Any way my lastest vid is up.
AmigaOne X1000 Advert
enjoy

@amigang

Well what music do people suggest? Is there a free uncopyrighted music pool somewhere? I think I can add music directly using the YouTube site right without going to the effort of uploading right?

Ed: Haha great video 'Building a PC and calling it an AMIGA would be the easy option..." excellent two fingers to C=USA. :)

@djrikki

I think you can get any good quality amiga-reworked-music , and put it at top. Just not something popular, and then Youtube will do not know what is that and no one will complain.

Yeah I had a quick look on AmigaRemix. Problem is as great as they are, a bit nostaglic, my videos are trying to break away from that.

@all

I watched this video sometime ago...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MhrbzWePz0&feature=related

This Zoom feature appears similar to the one in MacOS, but how do I use it? Is this a third-party application?

I'm not sure, could be there are several programs of that kind OS4 native, but here's one of them: http://www.os4depot.net/index.php?function=showfile&file=graphics/misc/zoomit.lha
