From: I'm actually flying into a bug!

Gran Turismo 2 as emulated on FPSE. I disabled sound in the emulator to get a 20 fps video.

Technical details: I recorded with SRec and used the RGB codec, but I bumped into filesystem (ext2) limit of 2 GB that resulted in ffmpeg falling 8% short of the full video. So I extracted the individual frames with a version of mplayer that could process the data correctly - MPlayer dev-SVN-r24878-4.2.2 - and let ffmpeg work on those, instead. Audio was edited in 68k program SampleZ.

@imagodespira

I'm not a game player, but I really am awed by the creativity and amount of work it
must take to produce these wonderful projects for those that do.

Carry on.

P.S. Love the videos.

@fred

I recorded the following using Snapshoter for the fun of it. Painfully slow, I wouldn't recommend to anyone recording a resolution like this lol Can't wait for 3d drivers so I can use SRec! I don't think there are any alternatives to Srec?

Came across this demo last week, managed to find it again.

Some may say that it brings more style over content and less technical prowess, but for me demos are meant to be entertaining not who can pull off an amazing special effect under limited resources with an almost obligatory list of credits in your face.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEkVTF3i7BA

Whereas OTOH if you want both an entertaining and an absolutely awesome demo under limited resources, look no further than Ikadalawampu by Loonies. This is pure perfection in my eyes, catchy soundtrack, amazing visuals within an incredible 4k of disk space (!) and not a single list of credits in sight. Magical. OT: This would make for an awesome screensaver.

@meet.mrnrg

Nice. There is kind of unofficial Hyperion Tube Channel
http://www.youtube.com/user/hyperionentertainmen
But could they make it a bit more professional?

Nice is that we see that AmigaOS can work on a PPC phone,
sadly this was never exploited commercialy.

@fred

A new video from me, showing the next version of Jack for AmigaOS. Version 2.4 in this case; warts and all. Lots of the code have been re-written so lots of bugs to squash in the meantime.
