You just spited on AmigaOS claiming OS4 is not sucessor to OS 3.
Everything is there, a menu, icon prefs, every lib.
So, if you feel spited on yourself, it serves you right.

Saying that it is not a successor means not to spit on it.
That is your personal definition and a view from your own perspective.
OS4 is OS4, and as a operating system it is exactly what it is, OS4.

Rude statements deserve rude answers. Hower, feel free to report it if think its abuse. Like you say, that spitting thing is matter of opinion, fact remains that OS4 is sucessor to Amiga OS 3.x in every way. Please support some evidence to your claim.

You are initiating a flame war here... I am not interested in that.
I presented my opinion and on the end of the post gave a small "outro" for
the whole situation. There is a huge amount of opinions in this modern world.

given his list i would think 'commodore OS' makes the most sense. or perhaps 'commodore linux' would be even better. it would certainly be more accurate.

Oh, I'll grant you that some people on this thread are being less subtle about it than Mr Nigro. But you can't reasonably claim that he doesn't lace much of he says on these forums with a strong dose of contempt for this community.

And I'd like to point out - I don't mind if CommodoreUSA finds this community contemptible, and I don't care if its executives use the forum damocles has so thoughtfully provided to say so. But I would prefer it if damocles could leave it there. If Mr Nigro wants to spread his opinions to this forum, he can post them here himself.

I just don`t get it why are people here nailed just because they think different than
the others. For example, If you say that something is blue and i say it`s green,
then you will find other 5 people who think it`s blue and you all will throw stones on
me because i said it is green. That`s the way it goes around here last few years.

Having and expressing an opinion is one thing. Baiting a forum whose members do not share your opinion, when they have made this abundantly clear in the past, is quite another.

You may notice that I don't troll around on terminills' site posting links to the evidence of Amiga Inc's fraudulent past, or to evidence of Barry's less-than-stellar business career. I would appreciate it if his administrator returned the courtesy.
