Hi - I ve launched a new section to the amigapd website where I am contacting and interviewing public domain and shareware programmers -

The first two interviews are now posted and are

an interview with Wayne Ashworth - graphic artist on Renegades - and there is an updated version being worked on currently

http://www.amigapd.com/interview-wayne-ashworth.html

and an interview with Kevin Gallagher who programmed some great arcade conversions.

http://www.amigapd.com/interview-kevin-gallagher.html

I have some more interviews in the pipe line - let me know what sort of questions you would like to ask to the programmers and I will try to incorporate them -

You can now also follow Amigapd on Twitter - to get the latest news and gossip

@amigapd

Why all past tense, historical stuff with developers who long ago abandoned the Amiga community? Why not instead interview developers who have actually stuck around for the long haul and are continuing to produce quality Amiga games?

@Minuous

Alien Fish Finger is currently being up dated - Renegades is also being currently updated - these updates are to be released in the future .

I am happy to interview developers currently working on the amiga and have a contact page for current programmers to contact us and I have made a post on the EAB for current programmers to contact Amigapd as I am very keen to review games in progress and interview current programmers - unfortunately there hasn't been a response so far.

If you are a programmer working on a project or know individuals who have current projects then please let me know.

Am I correct in thinking you are responsible for Amigan Software and their corresponding games - if so would you be interested to answer some questions about your past and current projects?

Adrian Cummings has kindly made his former commercial games available as freeware - read the interview:

http://www.amigapd.com/interview-adrian-cummings.html

If anyone has any contact details of public domain / shareware programmers - please contact me - also if you know of any commercial programmers who are looking to release their former work as freeware.

Thanks for the kind words

How much time they can spend per day/week on programming could be interesting.

I get like 1 hour a day on average perhaps where I can concentrate. That's not much.

I loved that game!

I'd also like to see what happened with the guy who did Taskforce. Not the one that works on OS4, the one that doesn't .

@amigapd

This is the first time I have seen this website. Amazing work. I have been buying tons of disk collections from eBay in the hope to crawl through them and archive any of the more obscure PD titles. Your website will certainly give me an indication of what is already "out there" and I am going to read all those interviews for certain - Amigas Power!
