Does 'EVERYTHING I say is a lie, and that's the truth' fit somebody in this --Customination Facility-- thread?

Over?
Is that according to his 'truth'?

Some people just can't take a joke. I thought it was a good one if I do say so myself.

Yup... I've been laughing my head off at that one...
Must say I'd have been proud to have come up with it, nice work & proves one thing you CUSA guys at least have a good sense of humour unlike some of the greetin faced whiners round these forums... _________________

honestly I was hoping vox would sign up for my site so I could have done that on his account. However I think he might have gone suicidal(not sure I want that on my conscience). _________________ Support AROS sponsor a developer.

hence my lament that we had no leadership to keep the operating systems together. and that it might be "too late"
Quote:
all of the OS will vary more and more and they should not be called flavors - all flavors share something fundamental. mentioned OSes do not, no longer (68k code? forget it). |
as was pointed out by another user they do not have to share anything to be a "flavor." however i propose that the common point of origin "os 3.1" make them sharing something fundamental
Quote:
Amigaland won't be united (in the sense in which you use the term 'united') anymore (should be? why?), that's a fact. |
if the os creators saw the benefit and dropped the ego trip that their way is best then this could happen. otherwise i agree with your assessment. they really don't have to give up their uniqueness either, all they need is a way to natively run apps from other Amiga OSes in their OS. this way one program can be created that can run on all flavors of the OS. this would offer the advantage of increasing the user base allowing greater profit. forcing app creators to "port" to each of the systems is not acceptable. this would increase the workload while lowering profitability.
if we(as a group/community)can get this to happen there will be the potential of increased apps created in the commercial sector. this will in turn spur additional users which generate additional sales(if the hw prices can be addressed) i won't say we can take over the world but getting enough sales to maintain the profitability of the system will go a long ways towards keeping the amiga alive._________________ Win•dows: n. So you have moved on from playing AO users for chumps and are now trying to play CUSA and their fans for chumps? Don't you have anything better to do?
