So you have moved on from playing AO users for chumps and are now trying to play CUSA and their fans for chumps? Don't you have anything better to do?

Oh, wait...

Didn't have to play anyone for chumps the chumps were already chumps long before I came along, with you being the King of Chumps of course...

Hark at him who slagged off CUSA at every chance he got until Barry slipped him some Coke...

Well as this site is mainly aimed at OS4.x users there was no need to go "fishing" seemed perfectly logical that the chances of you being a OS4.x user were quite high... Plus the "meh" was a dead give away... PS: stop using silly wee made up words like "troll" they really make you come across as much more dafter than you are...

That's true...

Here are some more Scottish words that were made up hundreds of years ago... (might come in handy one day as they all accurately describe you)...

Glaikit, Dunderheid, Scunner, BawJaws, BawBag , BawHeid, Spangle, Fud, SoorPus, Pish, Diddy, Tube, BellEnd, KnobHeid, Feirty, Blether

PS: Did You Know...

Back in the 16th Century almost all legal documents written by the UK Parliament were written in Scots and the Scottish language was used predominantly in the House Of Parliament during debates & speeches... :)

Wow! You guys have way too much time on your hands! Imagine what other constructive things you could do with your lives if you spent as much time actually creating something and/or contributing something postive and constructive to this world. Sadly, you'll never get this time back...nor, come to think of it, will I ever get the time spent reading much too many of these useless posts with people going at it back and forth ad nauseum or now my taking the time to post about it.

But, seriously folks, when you're all on your death bed - hopefully many moons from now - will you think back on the time and energy spent on this useless banter as good use of your time or quality time? I hardly think so. I sure won't, that's for sure! Which is why I spend less and less time coming to this site as time goes on and get more and more grey hairs. Nothing against AW, but the some of the people on it and the "discussions" they have with each other really leave to be desired when half of the threads degenerate into insults back and forth. Geesh!

@Franko

Glad to see Scotland joined battle against the copycats

Many things were summed during the discussion,
but most important is that AROS,UAE. MOS and OS 4.x get regularly updated
and upgraded. SAM 460 with PPC Linux is avail, OS4 final for it is near, as well as OS 4.1.3 for all, Natami is near completion and MOS has spread over all PPC Macs.
As well as OS 4.1.2 for Classics. ARES and iMica get better, too! Minimig is cheap and nice gift! Verry nice news indeed, glad to see more has to come.

It would be nice to see if all 3 projects would merge into single PPC OS, lets say AmigaOS 5

AROS: 3D drivers for nVIDIA, ZUNE, ported apps
MOS: Improved parts, Reggae, Ambient, MUI4 ... Mac Support!
AOS 4.1: Full OS compatobility
UAE: Fastest and most reliable Classic emulation
AmigaForever: modules, legal ADF files, emulation interfrace, docs etc.
x86 AROS DVD gifted
CUSA: Cases, is fold separately and with Amiga on Amiga keys

Well its viable as much as "CommodoOS v2.0"

Market is so small and fragmented, unity is the only way.

Even CUSA trolls helped things advance a bit, unvillingly.

@phoenixkonsole

While hardware situation has improved with SAM 460
PPC isn`t that bad at all. With little effort and partnership
even MacOS X Leopard and Yellow Dog Linux as well as AROS
could be "quadrible boot" machine, that could perform as good
as user needs it, as PPC Macs have proven.

However, nowone has approached Hyperion,, MOS team, YDL owners (Apple?) ...
maybe only CUSA, but it seems boys just had to be turned down
due to lack of charm and luck.

It might not be advance in terms of x86 muscle numbers,
but isn`t that grim situation at all.

AmigaOS 4 might not be top of them all, but it`s good
there is one more worthy alternative.

Meanwhile I&I dream, lets see what CUSA dream factory promises:
closed source modded Linux that will boost the open source community?

10. What is Commodore OS?
Our new Commodore operating system, will be a unique Commodore and AMIGA centric Linux distribution, that will grow over time into something far greater. Our sights are set on creating an operating system environment competitive with the likes of those offered by Microsoft and Apple. An operating system that is inviting and accessible to new and old Commodore owners featuring modern day paradigms. With the inclusion of a plethora of the best open source games and applications, we intend to champion the open source movement and show the world what open source is capable of.

Introducing Commodore OS
"A distinctive, attractive, advanced and stable operating system experience"

Unleash your creative potential with our new Commodore operating system, a distinctive, attractive, advanced and stable operating system experience, that will come pre-loaded with dozens of the latest and greatest productivity, creativity and education software the open source world has to offer. Featuring dozens of exciting 3D games, the latest web browsing technology, a Microsoft Word compatible Office Suite, advanced graphical manipulation programs, 3D raytracing software, advanced software development tools and languages, photo and movie editing and sound and music composition programs, there is no task too big or too small for a Commodore or AMIGA to accomplish.

Feeling nostalgic? Commodore OS will also be classic Commodore compatible, able to run classic 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit era software via emulation. A beautiful user interface allows you to easily peruse games for the Commodore PET, Vic20, C16, C64, C128 and AMIGA. No need to bother with floppy disks, as many games can be legally puchased and downloaded from the internet directly on to your computer.

All our machines will also provide optimum software flexibility with the optional extra to run Windows software either from a dual boot menu at start up, or seamlessly integrated within Commodore OS itself.

More information will be available before launch. Please check back later for updates.

Yeah, thank God for CUSA, 'cause the likes of Red Hat, IBM, Apache Foundation and tens of other viable open source based companies weren't able to do it!!
