Well, its simple: it could be only those who so far planned to buy SAM 460: price difference is just about the components included, so for them its a win win 
Compared to SAM 440 price and specs and X1000 (as estimated to be near 2000 euros) its not tha bad buy at all: you get most of X1000 specs (above 1Ghz CPU, ISB2, DDR2, PCI-E) with only 1.15Ghz CPU instead of dual core 2Ghz as well as no XMOS. Its not that good either, but compared to SAM 440 is nice expansion and modernization at not that higher pricing.
At this point of time most powerful AmigaOne, once X1000 is introduced slight pricedown would be nice. And RadeonHD 3D driver is badly needed._________________

It you mean SAM 460 Lite that is way cheaper, but that is limited offer from Acube only of downclocked board. It will not be sold (and isn`t) by Amikit etc. and will vanish one day. Even its way much affordable ...
