@all:
First we need to supply them with hardware and full support.
Press releases from either Spotify or Hyperion will be handled
Later through their marketing department.
Don't rush off to the press just yet.
We are yet to convince them to release this official.
As I said, this and forthcoming agreements with key companies
must be handled the correct way.

@Skuggan

You are absolutely right, lets not get over excited yet. There is a long road to go, but the fact is you have done something special here and if it can be handled professionally by our community, as you have already rightly requested then it will not be the last time.

I would love to represent the Aros team if I can get time to fly to stockholm and bring Aros unit with me. I have been involved with big companies before, including the business with Amiga and Gateway in the nineties so I am comfortable in this arena.

Either way well done and good luck.

I have not used Spotify before but think I need to give it a whirl.

Being a Mac used I enjoy iTunes and of course iPod/iPhone/iPad so music and video while at a desktop system or mobile has never been an issue.

But since I am getting into Amiga, will try Spotify out on my Mac and see what it is all about.

Great news!
I will make my donation as soon as it's possible.
This is what Amiga definitelly need, now even more people hear (via Spotify) that Amiga is still alive.

I have to agree - don't count our chickens until they are hatched! I'd rate the chances of this producing something (that we can download) at maybe 50%. Wait until we have something concrete (like a working beta version) before posting everywhere, or else there is the risk of making the Amiga look worse not better.

@Skuggan

This is excellent news!

And to not giving them unnecesary headaches and put them off already at the beginning I suggest you also install:
- KingCON (or they will be cursing over the console).
- A programmer's editor such as CubicIDE or Annotate (which is free) so they don't have to struggle with NotePad.
- Put AutoDoc Reader or equivalent tool in AmiDock so they very easily can find docs. (I HATE having to search for relevant docs when faced with a new system.)

Also install
- (MUI)OWB and
- an FTP client and
- Filer or DOpus.

You can do this in one hour, but it would take a week for them to struggle through all this, and they *will* hate it

IMO it must be a fully usable system, not a blank new-install with nothing except SDK on it.

Why not CodeBench? I think most of the developers are used to a full IDE environment and it has built in CVS/SVN support...
