@TrebleSix

Oh, downloaded and installed your Welsh calendar. I have it in the top corner of my Windows 7 display with teh transparency set. One problem, the font used it too large and dates with 2 digits can't display correctly. Is there a way to change the font used?

Bugger!

Any here fancy Dodo?
Photobucket
Dodo: "Does my bum look big in this?"

apart from Steven who would obviously bang anything in the best tradition of Capt James T Kirk:
Photobucket
Steven: "Wanna know why they call me six-shot Steve, babe?"

@TrebleSix

Still trying to get it working with what's on the disks, I'll need to use hex editor and check out all the files as the mysterious "DrWho.2" file is nowhere to be found as you can see from the listings...

Maybe just an error in the script for some reason (or the DMS images are faulty), hopefully I can figure it out and get it working, as I'm now dying to see the thing...

You're cruel! Poor Bonnie.

On a similar matter, am I the only one here who actually wasted money by buying a copy of Dalek Attack for the Amiga?

I bought that too along with Allo Allo!.
Both is really not worth owning unless youre a fan! (like me).

As for your drwho demo, i remember someone gave it to me over irc many many many years ago and i still have em i guess, maybe your dms's are faulty?
Do you know the name of the demo archive (the orginal name), if so then i can look it up in my collections.

Some very nice pictures of Bonnie there mate.

@TrebleSix

Wow, such an interesting thread and it only goes back and forth from UK to US.

Come on guys, am I the only italian guy here who likes Dr. Who?

The show wasn't very pupular over here since, up to very few years ago, we only had the chance to follow it in 1983 (Tom Baker was the Doctor at that time).

Today is a different story. You can get anything you like from Sat TV.

I would really love to watch that demo, so keep up the work.

Best regards to y'all.

@Darrin

My 7 year old son loves that TARDIS, and so do I.

@TrebleSix

Well after checking everything thoroughly on the disks there is just no way of getting it to run...

The missing file "DrWho.2" is the main cause of this as it needs to be joined with the Splice command to the file "DrWho.1" to produce an executable file called "DrWho.exe"...

The file that is there "DrWho.1" is crunched/ packed with the "Titanics Cruncher 1.1" but you can't even unpack/ decrunch this as it throws up an error, which of course is because it's not the complete file made up from files .1 & .2...

So unless you can find the "DrWho.2" file or the already joined "DrWho.exe" then from the contents of the disks sadly there is no way to ever getting it to run...

So our only hope rests with Toaks! Let's pray he may find the right file.

I never actually though about it until I read Toaks post...

I've got a DVD with thousands of Demos on it somewhere, think I need to dig that out and have look too...

That doubles the chance of finding a working copy now...

@TrebleSix

Here in Spain I was the last seasons of this TV serie and I like it, the old seasons here never I saw because here the TVs channels always have USA series or they put the serie once and eternal loop, for example with the BelAir Prince with Will Smith.

The Demo I don't loaded because I'll like in a file for OS4.

Wow. Excellent.

You should start up a company doing Tardis computer cases. I'd even throw away my nice White X1000 case for one of those !

BTW. Liz Sladen was the best who companion ever - beats the rest by a mile.

I never really liked Bonnie Langford much nor the one that follwed her.

Ace: I was just about to ask about her. She was my favorite Who girl.

Now before I lose my Who cred do you have a hotter picture of her?

I'm at work at the moment so I can't post one. Wait until I get back to the hotel.

Dig out the Curse of Fenrick DVD and watch her climb down the church wall in that short skirt and black stockings for a quick thrill.
