Seems an odd way to judge a computer !!!

I mean why on earth would a computer that has a lot of useful programs written for it not be a better computer than one that has tons more stuff written for it that may be of very poor quality or in general not very useful ???

If you base your views that a computer is somehow "better" because it has a bigger number of titles available for it and it runs faster than another computer then I can guarantee you , you are missing the point of actually owning a computer that is useful... quantity and speed does not make something automatically better...

But hey, if that's how you select a computer then I hope your happy with your Windows machine...

Myself I'll stick to computers that may not have a much choice of software or speed but does have software that is genuinely useful to me and where speed isn't a must have just to get enjoyment from it's use... The Amiga...

@pavlor

If there are people who believe X1000 is good buy without ever using it why there cant be people who believe it is not a good buy?

@itix

I just don't see the point, in writing about it, its a computer for former and current AmigaOS enthusiast, anyway most of supports and user in community understand situation and can live whit not having full support for every thing at once due to lack of developer resources, I think most beta testers and hardcore AmigaOS fans can live whit having to use SB live sound card, etc at first.

1) because this does not happen in the reality, nor is applicable to the current reality where you can buy or download thousands of GOOD applications for both Windows and MacOSX (and, with some extents, for Linux), while you can't do that for Amiga-like OSes (sad, but true)

2) And yes, I think a computer is better than another because has more titles available and it's faster. Being quicker is the point of hardware evolution and that's why I bought an expansion, an accelerator card and a hard drive for my old A1200 at the times. Then, I had (sadly) to change platform, if I wanted my computing live to continue.
