@moxee

Thanks guys! Look forward to it as well.

@amigakit

Will you have a tech doing services @ the show? Or just selling items? This will be a good chance to pick up an a604 and some mags and things. Do you bring a lot of retail items to the show?

And thanks for supporting the amiga community.

There are usually several technical folks at the show. Fol (from Amigakit) should be there as well as Dan from SACC who is very handy with classic Amiga systems. Friday night is the big tech session for the classic systems but people work on them over the course of the whole show.

Brian updated the blog with some more details about the hotel, including notes from his going there.

Have a look

I just made my Saturday night reservation at the Super 8 on Madison Ave.. The price came to a total of $29.56, and I couldn't pass that up!

Less than 1/2 the price of the Ramada,

@RobertB

I'm holding off till I see the show rate, but $30 a night sounds like a winner to me as well, & money is getting tight these days.

Making my reservations at the show hotel as soon as the show rates & code is
set.

The place has been renovated and it's not worth it to pass up the convenience
and spending time with the the devs, Trevor and the diehards for a few bucks.

See ya at the show,

PJS

I stayed till after midnight each night last yr, didn't miss anything & I don't think Trevor or the developers want to sleep with me...

@sundown

Man I'd love to go. If only it was on the east coast I could probably get over there by joining it up with a work trip to our NC office. Damn it. :)

I hope some of it will be streamed...

@Aslak3

tekmage sets up the streaming equipment every year, don't see why it'll be any different this year.

As soon as everything is in place I'll be doing the same. Like you, I'd rather stay where all the action is.

If we have to line up for the banquet next to the swimming hole as before be careful not to lose your balance and slide into the water as I heard someone halfway did.

Anyone who has had a few too many beers might get bumped into that pool on their way into the Banquet Dinner.

This year's show is going to be great. I hope that the number of people who can attend goes way up this year.

Yes, it is possible since the line to the banquet room went right along side the pool. I was at the head of the line and did not see what happened, but heard that someone fell and was saved by others from going into the pool. Only their arm got wet.

I do too! Did you decide yet where you will be staying? I hope it is at the show hotel.

Every year there has been a great auction.
Will there be a "classic" machine again?

I don't remember any auctions for the last 4 or 5 years, unless you are referring to the door prizes that they sell raffle tickets for chances to win?

With your nickname here, I thought you were part of the SACC club that organizes the show each year. Do you live in Sacramento, or are you from there and now live somewhere else? If you live in Sacramento you must be a member of the SACC computer club, I know I would be if I lived any where close to Sacramento.

See you at the show, if you can attend this year.
