Hi,

if i remember right Trevor said that 9th of July it was possible to download the new Radeon HD driver from his site, but i don't see anything, could someone explain to me the situation ? Thanks in advance

It said AFTER the 9th of July so you have one more day to wait before you are allowed to run up and down screaming . .
Even then you dont have to get an answer right away.

PS: Do you have a different Video card to try out ? And if so what model(s) do you have ?

no, indeed on Aeon site there's a link to Radeon HD driver 9th July but it requires a login and password that i don't have, obviously i've already paid it. I don't have another graphoc card, but the new driver should be 0.46 version while i've an old one 0.32, the new one is bugfixed plus it has some minor feature

after to me means from 10th July or later but not on the 9th July.
I am waiting for the Download myself and I have 2 cards to try out .
4 Hours from Now will be 10July UK time .

We will have to see about bugfixes.
Apart fom the Radeon HD Vertical Blanking if included .

The keyword here is 'after', it doesn't say 'on or after' and therefore it could be could tomorrow, next week, next month or next year as they are all 'after' the date stated so don't be too disappointed if its not available for download any time soon!

In your opinion what does "RadeonHD driver for AmigaOne500 9th July 2012" mean ? In my opinion it means that it's a 9th of July version because he hasn't written "after 9th july", what do u think?

...and however the problem is another now, how can i have a login and password from Aeon? I don't see things like "create an account", ecc.

the new version seems little bit more responsive probably due fact VB implemented, i noted it the use of MuiOWB and Timberwolf, also DVplayer seems to play DVD better with less cpu busy

Just Managed to download using OWB.
Could not log in Using Windows XP.

Now I am off to switch video cards to a HD 6570 to see how it works.
