Try running from a FFS2 partition with all RC2 files except libcairo.so.
Use the RC1 libcairo.so.
This seems to be the best setup of RC2 for Sam440ep machines.

And for X1000 and Eyetech AmigaOnes reported so far, use FFS2 partition and all the RC2 .so files. Although we have limited reports, this is the trend.

Note:This is what it was tested on in the first place (FFS2).

The Sam 440ep combo in my post above gives good browsing performance.
So we can be happy until RC3 or an Updated RC2

What has MorphOS to do with the topic? AFAIK Timerwolf is an OS4 only program.

To say the truth it looks hilarious the AmigaBounty committee declared this product as complete when they are still making release candinates. Sometimes it looks it is more important to have the show running without caring what is in the show.

While I dont use AmigaOS 4 and I sometimes/often/always commit broken code to MorphOS, I am still puzzled how AmigaBounty committee approved the completion.

I now have RC2 running and only substituted libcairo.so with the one from RC1.
Timberwolf is running - but performance is worse than with RC1.
CPU load ist still 100% with dev random:

At the moment I have no FFS2 partition available.
I have all partitions formatted with SFS.

Will try with an additional hd formatted with FFS2 and see what happens.

Yes it seems we declared that one finished a bit to early, I'm currently without a working machine so should of course have waited for more reactions on RC1.
Discussions to whether the bounty terms were met have been going on but all in all it doesn't make much difference. We all know a lot of work went into timberwolf and more is needed in the future even if it already complied 110% with the bounty terms.

I have the strongest confidence that the Frieden brothers will solve the problems that emerged with RC2 and deliver a stable product in the near future.
