I hope it's a successful event, I wish I could go, but just don't have the cash, maybe, maybe very slim chance I might try and save up to go next year, as I am planning a big usa hoilday for next year, my first real hoilday in.....well ever really, lol.

There should be a live video/audio feed & I think there are plans, for those who can't attend, to ask questions, not sure about that part.

A/V stream was tested & worked this week with mplayer on A1's & the X1000 FC system, though it didn't work with my beta install

I suspect no 4.2 announcement, but beta x1000 onboard audio and net drivers. The xena add on card is a strong contender as it is shown on AEON website as coming soon.

we've got a very nice surprise indeed for astronomy fans at amiwest this year courtesy of bill eaves. so that's one little 'surprise' coming you can bank on. if any of you are on the west coast and still dithering about driving up to sacramento for the show, do it. i promise you'll be glad you did. reps from hyperion, A-EON, amigakit, the AROS development team, dave morris with an expansive MOS-focused table, the classic software and hardware store from SACC -- it's always a nice little get-together for amigans.
