plug it to your OS4.1 machine via USB AND if your printer is a DOT4 printer then please post back here

So does that prove there is a problem with usbprinter.device, the DOT4 printer driver, or Turboprint?

@Swoop

well the current usbprinter.device does not work with many DOT4 printers so that is the issue for me anyway. So far with gutenprint that terminills is working on I've been able to print text AND graphics fine so far via USB on DOT4 printer (mind you with AspireOS on my netbook at the time being)

Does that mean the problem is in the DOT4 driver, rather than Turboprint?
If so, would getting the DOT4 driver updated, allow you to use Turboprint correctly?

usbprinter.device doesn't support Dot4. That's the problem.

Alternatives:
usbdot4.device (never worked for me)
Dot4Spool (tempremental, will only work with HP printers)

@terminills

I know we had a lot of flamming in the past, but thank you for your good work.
Better printing sys for AROS as well MorphOS/AmigaOS 4 is essential.

Great! This means there will be an OS4 version too?
