@ROMwack

I'll see if I can get a discount when everyone is on board.
The more we are, the better.

I'll let you know.

Thanks!

@TheDaddy

Do you have key caps still available or are they all sold already ? Do you have white-beige set available or was the black set the only one ? I found some nice keyboards from a couple of local dealers with Cherry mx mechanism.

@Tomppeli

Hi,

White and beige, all black etc... still available in all the languages I listed before.

A single set is a lot of money so if more people are willing to get the keys I designed and we reach at least 10 sets I'll order them, this allows for a bit of discount.

But it looks to me like nobody is that interested in proper Amiga keys for mechanical keyboards so just send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.

Thank you.

I think this is exactly the information we need to know before we start placing orders...

We have 4-5 orders but I'd like to get to at least 10 for a decent discount.

A couple of weeks and I can give you an exact price.

Thank you!

@TheDaddy

I would like to have a set of black key caps with US-ANSI layout (rectangular keys).

Is there any keyboard base matching the natrual white keys? Preferrably as slim as the black variant on the pictures. If so, I'd like to have one full natural white keyboard with Swedish layout with brown cherry switches.

... With some reservation for price of course.

Edit: I mistakenly wrote ISO while I meant ANSI. :)

I've just finished the Boing Ball and MOS keys for the mechanical keyboards as requested by some of you. They are in full colour (with shading) and printed (not adhesives) at over 300dpi:

A big thank you goes to Hyperion for supporting this project and Johannes for general MOS advice.

A colour Boing Ball on light beige key is also available.

@TheDaddy

I still have not seen any approximate prices for full sets of key caps, but put me down for two sets. One White, with the Amiga "A" keys and Boing Ball key(s), and the second set in Black, with the MorphOS butterfly keys. I need them for a USA layout keyboard.

Waiting for exact price and then I will shop for the mechanical keyboards that work with your key caps. Do I need to find the mechanical keyboard to purchase, before I order the key caps from you? I guess I just need to shop for one that is compatible with the key caps you are having etched.

Nice project and finished look. How did the project for the custom case turn out as far as sales are concerned? Did you sell enough to break even, or do you still have left over cases to sell?

I don't know if I can buy one now, but would like to have one for my FPGA Arcade Replay motherboard.

@amigadave

Hi,

I should have the prices soon...I just had to check the interest. At the moment it looks like we will have to push these keys with the keys for the X500 Evo cases.

This is the only way to get them cheaper. So I'll be ordering 25 sets (to cover the Evos) and an extra 5-6 for you guys who have expressed interest, after that it's the end of the keyboard project as it's not economically viable for me, almost all I've done has not been economically viable to be honest...but there you go.

Look for the Ducky Zero keyboards, the Philcos should work too, check the first page of this thread.

I'll ask language layout and colours when the time comes.

All the X500 Plus cases have gone, the majority to the kickstarter users, the rest to Amedia in France who, very kindly, bought a few so I could concentrate on the Evo.

I've received the first boxes full of Evo plastic parts (first half) so it's going to be a full on few months assembling and dispatching.

I've only got 5 Evos left if anyone is interested then...they're gone...for EVER!
Thank you.

@TheDaddy

I'd like a set of gray/white caps with US layout (wide enter key) and a boing ball. Would that be possible?

The plan was to keep it with End but I was then told that it's better to have it where Scroll Lock is when using OS4. I think that is what amigakit did with their keyboards. I am sure there is a technical reason.

My scroll lock key is what changes the computer on my KVM switch, so I need to use a uboot variable to not have that be my help key. :/
