@AmigaBlitter

Good news to see Amiga companies forming closer alliances. I have a fair idea what their first collaboration might be.

MorphOS 3.4 was also released at Pianeta Amiga 2013. Grab it while it's hot from the usual place. For highlights see the official news item, for detailed changes see the release notes.

Oh yes! I'm sick and tired of strolling around with this Window$ powered laptop which give me the shivers every time I open it!

Thanks to Cloanto for AmigaForever. At least I get the flavor of it.

Well you already have MorphOS supporting some laptops! It's native, Amiga compatible and not some emulation hack up.

@jPV

I already have an old Samsung NetBook running AspireO that I'm quite happy with except it doesn't have full 3D and Ethernet support and If I didn't have such disgust for Apple computers in my house I would definitely love to have a MorphOS NetBook (btw, this has nothing to do with MorphOS but going back to 1983 when I first was introduced to their (Apples) hype)

Well, it's none of my business, but if the Apple logo bothers you, just cover it with a some opaque sticker, and be done with it. After then, you barely notice you're using a computer made by Apple. Not even an Apple logo on boot or anything. You don't even need to have OSX installed. And after all, the most significant chips, the G4 and the Radeon is the same as with every other computer...

On the other hand, a new laptop hardware would be always interesting of course, lets hope the ACubeon people come up with something interesting.

@Chain-Q

Heh, yeah. In one public event we were showing Amigas and MorphOS machines one girl checked out my Powerbook and she seemed to be a bit puzzled which computer she was actually using... she had to turn the lid down to check if it was Apple. Too bad I didn't have any sticker there yet :)

I think it's the ultimate desacration to Apple to "abuse" their hardware for an alternative OS. I mean these powerbooks/ibooks are no new sales for Apple (hence no profit for them) and it's a real pleasure to wipe out OS X from them and make this fruit hardware an Amiga. Is there a better way to pee on their business?

I don't like Apple (the company) too much myself but must acknowledge that the hardware is really fine.

@AmigaBlitter

Any news of file #3? IIRC it was about some new minimig/fpga Amiga clone. I would like to hear more about that.

I guess you are right. I'll try to get my hands on some proper hardware. I'm always eager with experimenting new things.
Thanks for the advice.
