Full return to base refund + Serbian import taxes with all Hyperion software.
Will use Vesalia and others and buy SAM 460 because of MOS or Peg2,
and peace is kept.

Even I do believe they deserve to be sued, but again have more important
matters in life.

Point is I knew everything about X1000 and been patient,
but great blame Canada leader has told me no TW4 full,
no onboard driver soon (its been months since its beta),
no SMP and OS 4.2 anytime soon and so on ...

Might I interest you in a nice C64x running CommodoreOS?

Seems to me that you're blaming the machine for your poor financial decisions. Knowing that you are in hock for a computer till 2018 must quickly take the shine off of things.

Why not admit it, you cant face the prospect of the debt and are looking for excuses to warrant a refund...

splendid decision. i seriously doubt they'll refund you your import duties, though, nor should they. but i'm hopeful they'll give you your money back. you've been the customer from hell.

i can only suggest you migrate to MOS. several people have recommended it to you, and, given your requirements, i can only wholeheartedly concur.

Maybe should have asked quietly months ago and said you made a big financial mistake and would they give a refund because you realised that you don't want to be in serious debt for the next 5 years.

The thing is that after all the online tantrums, insults and threats they might not be so willing to help you out of the financial hole you dug yourself.

I sincerely hope that you can come to a solution but do be aware that you may have burnt too many bridges by now.
Maybe you should have thought a little harder about things before taking out a huge loan.

I'm afraid I must have missed the news but I almost have no idea what you are talking about. You are returning an X1000 in order to buy a Sam460?

Who deserves to be sued and why?

And who is this Canada leader? Sollie?

Apart from that, were you expecting a fully working TW4, SMP and OS4.2 on the X1000? TW could be better yes, but even if it was full, it would be an old version. Then we might complain again and go back to OWB.

So what driver? Ethernet? Even I got over that ages ago when I found a RealTek card. But I didn't see SMP promised. Only thing I recall is OS4.2 promised when ready.

But, isn't it a bit early to cite OS4.2 as missing when the X1000 doesn't even have OS4.1 fuil yet?

Apart from superior Ethernet how will the Sam460 be even better? You're right, UBoot firmware is much better and Linux install easier.

Wait, your signature says you have a Linux Monolith, so was OS4.1 installed on it at all? Just saying.

He should have gone the MorphOS route from the start given his wanted features, he wants a complete web browser, affordable hardware, better 3d/graphics drivers and he mentions he wants MUI 4 and Ambient on OS4, all these boxes are already ticked by MorphOS.

http://www.amigans.net/modules/xforum/viewtopic.php?post_id=83421#forumpost83421

Speaking as a former OS4 user, my A1XE started to become flakey, buying a new machine was too pricey when I weighed up the costs of the 460/X1000 and the unfinished driver situation put me off. I picked up a cheap Mac Mini G4 with MorphOS licence for around £150 and absolutely love it.

You are aware that you can pick up a more powerful PPC Mac for 1/4 the price of a Sam 460? If you were going the Peg 2 route, you'd be buying used hardware anyway so why not just go with a Mac Mini G4 or a Power Mac? They're more powerful, and a lot cheaper. Heck, I've seen Emacs (that are supported by MorphOS) go for £5.

If its free and I can run Mint or Fedora, maybe.
Please send it to Belgrade. Thanks.

I will take the case, and drop the #### hardware. Just the case is enough.

@all

Don`t think for me. Yes, I still want to support OS4 and MorphOS but this time Acube.

PPC Mac G5 is rare here.

To put this on the record for the future in case some one ends up wanting to sue.

Linux version beyond Debian Wheezy (7.2) and Ubuntu 12.04 currently do not run on Sam460ex.Also No 3D hardware acceleration .And No 2D hardware acceleration beyond Kernel 3.4.75 . Also No Radeon HD Support beyond Radeon HD 4000 series.

eMac is not good choice - CRT, poor build quality. Mac Mini or PowerBook - that are ideal computers for MorphOS.

Can we expect antiSolie, antiAmigakit or AntiHyperion web page soon?

Also, I'd really like if you would add yourself to the "fooled" section of your website - because people who are on that and other lists(I'm the Elite spammer ) have been telling you that this is exactly what is going to happen if you continue to believe in the propagande blindly...

P.S. Powermac G4s in Croatia are about 40-70 euros, G5 150 euros.

I bet it's less rare than the X1000 or Sam 460, and even then you'd have to import them at much more expense.

The cheapest option for him would be to just use AROS, since he has 2 x86 computers... and ARIX when it's released to end customers.

No. Simply its hard, rare and no PCI-E
even its real G5. And MOS team claims SMP Real ABox
is no longer goal.

in term of driver support there is one and only one hardware well supported in the world: the PC with Windows.

hey, I tried to help you 2-3 years ago... I didn't force you to buy that machine

Try AROS and wait for ARIX, which will be even more modern.

Not if he wants MUI 4, more complete web browser and Ambient (features on his wish list).
