@thread

well that was a bit of a surprise. i had rather expected not to see this until AOS4.2 was released, but, well, look what just hit the amiupdate servers:

a huge thanks to thore, jens, ssolie, and everyone who made this possible. now all we need is odyssey. and maybe a reaction-like MUI theme.

Wow fantastic news!

I trust this will bring a number of enhancements including page tabs that can be set during run-time and not just during initialisation reported as missing from version 3.9. I hope Andreas can bring this to MUI Royale in the New Year.

I hope current MUI 3.9 applications remain just as stable as before.

so far so good. amirc, odyssey, and jabberwocky all running right now as i type this just fine. the preferences are different, and there are some things i have to 're-learn' about configuring MUI, but seems fine. i'm sure we'll hear about any issues as people run into them.

Wow!

Unexpected but amazingly cool at the same time!

Brilliant. Time to power up the X1000 and do an auto-update.

@eliyahu

Great news for all OS4 users, I don`t mind using it on MorphOS and OS 4.1.x
on SAM460 hopefully. How to contribute to overall MUI 5 development for AOS4, AROS anywhere and everywhere, MOS 3?

Where do I find the link to download, my AmiUpdate is not finding it? I'm running AOS4.1.6 in a SAM460.

@WeiXing3D

I hadn't done any updates for a while, so I had to run AmiUpdate a few times and complete each set of updates before it found MUI. It was in with a large number of other updates. Run MUI to check the version number just in case you've been updated and haven't noticed. A reboot might be required as I was prompted to make several after installing each download.

So who paid stuntzy in the end? i bet it was not the os4 'developers' hyperion. Is this mui feature parity with mos version or effectively mui4 source has been forked years ago?
