@terminills

Quick question about Final Writer (slightly off-topic I know). Are you planning on having one license per user or per machine? Could I use the AROS & OS3.x versions with a single license?

@clebin

Well I've been contemplating multi license discounts tbh. but I'm not 100% sure the direction.

i hope it's a per-platform charge, rather than per-machine. i've got four AOS4 systems, a MOS installation, and AROS running hosted on my linux laptop. i'd rather pay thrice than seven times.

@eliyahu

why do you need a copy of office software for every computer you own? can you type seven keybords at a time?

@wawa

fair point. but i'd want to install it on all of the machines. i have one at work, one in my home office, one for the kids, etc., etc.

for me it makes sense to purchase multiple licenses.

Photogenic HDR appears to have the same user interface as the older version and Paul Nolan seems to be concentrating efforts his remote editing suite so willing to grant a license for someone to back port HDR to Amiga platforms.

Not sure if Alinea Computer have the license to update Art Effect or just distribution rights to the last version made by H&P.

Final Writer, as discussed in this thread, is being updated for all Amiga platforms.

Pagestream. Isn't this being updated for MorphOS now.

Make CD. Well it is at least available and the keyfile is free.

I was thinking Deluxe Video :) Same idea, though: updated for modern systems. And anything from Electronic Arts!!! Games or productivity.

Not sure if this is mentioned, but I think AEON should buy AmigaBASIC from Microsoft.

Why?
As far as I remember, M$'s AmigaBASIC was a bad implementation, not capable of Multitasking besides other shortcomings.
Don't we have better BASIC Compilers for the Amiga meanwhile?
BlitzBasic e.g.?
