I doubt you don't know way we call you a troll, but anyway, its type of language you use, your lack of respect, and your lack of knowledge (no offence intended).

Now it seems you're banned, you were warned before, I was kid once too, don't worry about it, you grow up some time. You will need to if you want to if you want be respected.

@OlafS25

A sad day indeed, but very expected. when they chose the business model of over priced bugged hardware and not so great software thats a recipe for bankruptcy. If they had gone Morphos Team route with PPC mac as platform things would have been very diff.. how foolish.

Based on comments made by A-EON he is working for them on two projects (LibreOffice and GDB), maybe they count as a big linux company? Or maybe CGutJahr is spreading unsubstaitated and at best incomplete FUD.

so much easier than replying to posts.

Thanks

Sadly unless the site devs have more time, they are limited to just fixing really broken things currently. Anything more complicated that requires adding code to this CMS is unlikely at this stage. A better option would be to use a more up-to-date CMS.

Buy why bother about the facts? It is disgrace that you are part of a news-site, you run some kind of silly hate campaign based on your non existing insight in basic facts which do not matter to you.

You mean like how you lied about Morphos being "Stolen code" kind of like that? lmao

Recent evidence would suggest otherwise, I'm sad to say. Which is a shame.

@imigger

Sheesh, you really are a moron of the highest order.
Firstly, your literacy skills,..... wow, its impressive how bad they are. Did you purposely backtrack and insert errors? In this day and age it's not an easy thing to post on forum sites and have that many errors. Not just spelling, but even words used. Good job. I'm impressed.
Secondly, maybe try not to put words in people's mouths?
There's plenty of people here that find OS4.x hardware far from adequate (myself included). Just because I wouldn't waste my money on hardware with no redeeming features doesn't mean I have to antagonize those willing to buy it. As many as not know how weak it is vs. pretty much any/every thing out there, but they still decided to invest in their hobby. While it's not for me I'm hardly going to begrudge them for it.

Perhaps spend more time worrying about your own issues (of which there's clearly plenty), and worry less about how others choose to spend their time/money.

p.s. my favorite part was how called himself a dick but was too stupid to realize

@pavlor

Architecture, rather than just pure clock rate plays a big role in CPU emulation speed.
Anything pre-Haswell is a lot slower. An I5-2500k@3.4ghz is only about %30 faster than Haswell-E at 1.6ghz when it comes to CPU emulation.
Haswell-E @ 4.8ghz is over 2x as fast as i5-2500k@3.4ghz for qemu ppc emulation. In fact a high end haswell 4xxx/5xxx is the fastest available system for os4.x (disregarding fpu), beating even an x1000 for raw CPU grunt.
Anything AMD is obviously slower than even the older Intel CPUs as well.

p.s. The above is in response to someone asking about potential emulation speed of their laptop. I'd have quoted, but I'm typing on a tablet, and it's cumbersome.
p.p.s. Tried gigamem/vmm/etc? Attached to a hdf residing on a ram disk should be pretty nippy if it works.

Clubs and knives for sale! At first, I thought this might be off topic, but then I realized that it fits right in. Effective immediately, I am offering a fine assortment of daggers, butchering implements, hacking blades and clubs to aid in your continued enjoyment of this thread. I look forward to the further expansion of this artful mix of "Game of Thrones," and "The Walking Dead"! Please continue with your slice-n-dice, and if you get a chance, come see my fine selection of blunt and pointy instruments! Carry on!

Bit of both. Hyperion's bankruptcy is the most exciting output from the company in years!

@thread:

I've skimmed all 25 pages of this thread and am still no clearer - is the game a bogey for Hyperion or not?
