@Mazze

A question - have you given endianess any thoughts when building native ARM port? I am thinking if running in bigendian mode could potencially be usefull for having more transparent m68k emulation, akin to what OS4 and MorphOS have. When I am done with my year of backpacking, I intend to reboot my armeb Gentoo distro, and see to that AROS builds and works for armeb too.

Oops, the blog is from Michal Schulz. I'm not involved in that adventure.

@kolla

Im with you there. An intergrated 68k emu ala os4 or mos in a $35 device like the rpi2 would be fantastic. I have no idea about the pros and cons (apart from the aforementioned emulator if using big endian), or technicalities involved, but in theory a cheap, completely open, "68k compatible" (in quotes 'cos like mos and os4 an emulator is still invoved) machine could go over pretty well in the amiga community. Couldn't hurt with the fine tuning of AROS's os3.x compatibility either.

Seems a great opportunity to get some exposure to the amiga-oid systems too, given the lack of any real dominance of any particular OS for the pi.

Great thread. It's good to know what's happening.

Would it be possible to make your latest update 'sticky' so it always shows up as the very first post?

Great thread, even if AROS development is rather open, this gives nice overview of development of various parts.

@thread

I am not rich at all, but if there is AROS developer who wants to add touch screen primitives to Wanderer GUI + MUI GUI on code written for RasPiB2 (and leave code enough machine indipendent usable for AmigaOS and MorphOS too) i'll gladly donate entire amount of money in order to let him buy this nice little very cheap resisistive touchscreen 480x320 pixels.
So the developer will be furnished of hardware for experimenting how to implement and integrate these features on existing Amiga desktop systems.

Great to see all of this work being done.

Now my house move is complete, I now have an actual office and area for my Amiga's and Aros machines and video setup. I hope to be able to video this progress soon.
