Still hoping to buy this for OS4 on my X5000. I have a lot of FW files, but no way to access them due to the crash of my A1-XE in which I lost all my ADF files of the "Final" programs.

Would love to see (a) a more AUISG style on the controls, I always hated the weird almost compliant but not quite look and feel of the Final apps, and (b) separate the controls (gadgets) out into an SDK so they can be used by other apps and hopefully give amiga a uniform set of building blocks for office-like apps like MFC and OLE did back in the day for Windows. Final Writer was always my favourite Amiga word processing/page layout app. I look forward to getting this new one some day soon.
Back in the late '90s, Final Writer 97 had a HTML export option. Not sure how good it was, but it would be nice to see some new workflows supported in this new Final Writer. After it is released of course.
Personally, I would pay extra for a Novel/Screenplay workflow, like Scrivener.
A Blogging workflow that integrates with WordPress would be nice.

Finally an update, I fancy myself a part time writer and it would be nice to be able to buy one of my old favorite tools again. Keep it up and you’re going to make MS Word jealous. _________________ Sent from my Quantum Computer. |

| I guess that in Amiga standards it is not well seen to ask for an estimated release date. Two more weeks? :)

I’d be interested in a new version, especially one for 68060 accelerated “classic” models with RTG support. I might also be interested in a version that could take advantage of a Vampire 4 (KRAKEN) accelerated A3000.
I’d consider around $50 a fair price.
