Not sure why but I had to switch back to amigaboot.of v53.4 (19/11/2010) otherwise all USB devices are locked out.

The issue I had with Calendar locking the system up seems to have gone with Update 1.

Can you list your SOBJS drawer.

I'm suprised this issue is occuring, some effort was made to prevent it, and it seemed to have worked for us testers, when testing the distro.

Your snoopy settings are more likely what changed, timer.device is opened a heck of a lot by many programs with animation etc in them, and always has been.

Go to the exec tab in snoopy's menu and disable OpenDevice(). Unless your explictly checking for library opens turn off OpenLibrary too....

Might need to add some links from your SDK to those missing sobjs in the SOBJS: drawer.

ie
makelink SDK:local/newlib/lib/libpng16.so to SOBJS:libpng16.so
etc.

Hi all, so I just updated. Now when my sam460 boots it freezes loading WB with only the bg picture and RAM disk showing...

Anyone any idea about what went wrong ?

I just tested under 4.1.6. No problem, not a OpenDevice() flooding in Snoopy.

Now, under FE update 1, a real flood !

Hmm I think the libfontconfig.so is drawing in the libpng16.so but your SDK must have the libpng includes installed (even though you seem not to have libpng14.so itself installed), or the SMTube src has it's own libpng srcs too?

I wonder how much work it is to get rid of libfont config comepletely?

We have our own system of FONTS: and even if you need libfreetype that doesn't require does require libfontconfig...

I haven't updated yet and there is no constant timer.device opening shown in Snoopy with OpenDevice activated. It's a new bug that's just wasting CPU time. An older version of one of the Enhancer programs constantly opened timer.device and when I notified the author the problem was fixed.

Quit the application using that object before installing. If you don't know which one it is, install from boot with no apps running.
