Sven did appear to be doing a good trade in sales of both Wings Remastered (pre-release version as I am now calling this) and Rocket Ranger.

As I have pointed out in my updated blog post reviewing this game, if sales from the event help to ensure that development of this game is moved along more quickly then it should be seen as a good thing, although I will stress again, people who have ordered the game should also be given the opportunity to have a play of this too, so hopefully something will get sorted soon

One month to Xmas, I hope to get my copy of Wings Remastered within this special day

I was in Neuss also, also backed this kickstarter ... even Daniel (who was there also) was a bit surprised by this being on sale while not finished yet.

Anyway ... seems like a good reason to fire up the 68k version and shoot "the hun" out of the air out of frustration.

How is possible finish the game when Daniel is begin Rocket Ranger?
He has several proyects, and now Rocket Ranger, and after other game to get cash, and several proyects begin and any finish, as Defender of the Crown.

Rocket Ranger and DOTC are collectors editions containing the original releases for various formats. Daniel is not involved in these releases because no programming is required.

The projects I'm aware of Daniel working on are Wings Remastered, Tower 57, the OpenGLES 2 wrapper and the Warp 3D/MiniGL wrapper for Warp 3D nova. He has also made Tabor SPE versions of Voxel Bird and VoxelNoid.

Ok,.is important to know who is develop every proyect when we are waiting several years to finish it.

Looking forward to my personal copy of Wings to be able to play on the X5000. It looks great from viewing the released screenshots and clearly Daniel has invested a lot of time into it from his reports.

An update from Cinemaware:

"Hey Guys,
sorry for this bigger update right now. First a short note about the actual shipping delay. It was planned to ship all the pre-ordered versions of Rocket Ranger and Wings RE (Amiga) the week after the Amiga32-Event in Neuss. The weeks before where very tough finising all the boxes and gimmicks for the releases. After the Event we´ve planned to transfer the shop and all the stuff direct to the new distributor. Sadly i got very sick for around two weeks and i´ve had again issues with the old database to transfer. But this is solved now. So here detailed infos for your shipping:

It was planned that the shipping starts now from the new distributor.

Wings RE (Amiga):
On Amiga32 we hand out the Boxes to pre-order customers and new ones. We informed everyone that this still will get some updates and also runs with an autoupdater. Sadly this was an earlier version with only the MorphOS-Version and Missing AROS and AmigaOS. Daniel is working right now on some updates, after the test (within the next days) i will get this version put it on the disc and make the shipping ready. I will keep you informed when this starts, but i expect this around next week."

I don't have understood if the game is finished (and Cinemaware has only to package and deliver it) or if Daniel has still to work on it

He is most likely still working on it, but due to low pre-order numbers, he does it part time, whenever he got time to do it.

He also keeps his forum presence to a minimum due to the amount of time it "wastes", so his diary and facebook is the best bet for info;
