Oh yeah.. make no mistake about it I was just trying to clarify the linux steam situation for him on a highlevel sense. Going PPC or an X5000 for that matter out of the question.

I tried to set it working a little over a year ago.
It worked pretty strangely/weirdly, IIRC, I saw games not using more than one core and steam link gave poor performance out from linux system.
I bought Win10 for the same HW and game performance multiplied immediately.

So, unless there has been big improvements, I do not think Linux is a sane steam gaming option on x86/a64/x64. (ok for diehard Linux fans, perhaps & though)

btw. steam link client for AOS/MorphOS might be interesting...
