@AmiDARK

cool

Bob using 256 colors too? ;)

I am surprised how fast you progress... there was a amos project on another site with little to no progress, just some bugfixes but no improvements regarding AGA support

Is there any site where I can download your improved amos?

Is it compatible to all the available extensions?

I even found a working AGA extension but it was not integrating in the amos environment so it could not be combined with amos bobs f.e.

@OlafS25
Hello Olaf !

The repository is there : https://github.com/AmiDARK/AmosProfessionalX-Releases
The folder/Directory AMOS contains a build.
The branch that is under dev (with hires) is "AGA-HiRes-support". It's the most updated one.

Don't forget that it is BETA ... It can be unstable as many things were not yet tested nor updated for AGA changes.

Regards,
AmiDARK

@All :
Repository is updated.
Aga Hires support now merged with the main branch.
In the main branch, you have an AMOS directory where a BUILD is available for testing (if possible on true Amiga AGA hardware).
Send me your feedbacks plz.

@klx300r

According to the readme it should be released as public domain (aka free)

@asymetrix
Hello Asymetrix and thank you for this idea, but due to the fact that : Patreon register "mensual membership" ... This mean that it can be considered by French Law as a employement with mensual salary ... unfortunately I cannot use this in my current situation because it may be prejudicial for me.

That is pretty amazing! I've been meaning to get going with Blitz Basic 2 for ages and even bought a book last Christmas! What are the benefits of using AMOS Professional AGA instead?

@BigD

BlitzBasic is compiled.
AMOS is interpreted but there is an Amos Pro compiler ... not sure if it is included.

Microsoft has open-sourced VB and C#'s compiler: https://github.com/dotnet/roslyn

VisualBasic.Net is (to me) the greatest programming language on the plane.

...would be nice to see AMOS evolve into it.
