That's why I'm suggesting a port to ARM. ?

So, while I agree, the Amiga has some possible big potential, it's not in the current state and arcitecture chosen.
Time for a change, like Apple is doing to ARM and has done in the past with 68k and PPC.

Port to ARM is under way, it is an AROS under ARM in bigendian mode and it will get a transparent 68k emulation with JIT like AOS4 or MorphOS has.

Right, friend Signal!

Apple should have stuck with PPC and never, ever switch to other architectures!
That way, they would have become a much more successful company, and today they would be worth 2 trillions instead of just one puny trillion.

That's the way!

@OneTimer1

How transparent is 68k emulation in Aros X86 currently?
I mean, Compared to this ARM port and AOS4 / MorphOS.

And?
I mean, so what if they do. Maybe, they will do that, or maybe they won't. It a much cheaper alternative that they have been using for 10+years now. All their iphones and tablets use them, it's a logical next step to tie in their other processing products and ARM is forging ahead with multiple tech giants interested.

Interesting. I must admit, i am behind on my AROS information as I didn't have a fun experience with it last time. (10 years ago)
I must look into this. Now AMIGA has new owners that are active, maybe the situation will start to clear up.
If this takes off, thats going to make it super easy for deveopers to get hardware and new users to buy-in.

Exciting times!

There is a fast UAE for AROS x86 (AFAIK with JIT) both can share directories, mouse pointer and clipboard.

Transparent emulation or not is IMHO only a theoretical question. On an UAE the 68k programs can't access the systems structures of the host system. But this might also be a virtue, because faulty 68k programs can't crash the host systems.

@SHADES

After buying Amiga Inc mr batalia already has right to made and sell Amiga in Joystick.
Something like Amiga in Joystick with 68k, ocs, little better graphics, net will sell very well.
But instead mr batalia waste time and money in court fight.
You put too much faith in mr batalia.
