I guess Objective C and the Ojbc framework/runtime make that possible.
Time to switch to x64.

I think the 1GB requirement/recommendation is a bit on the safe side, and it probably works quite fine with less memory too.

I did some quick surfing test on my Peg1/512MB and I wasn't running out of memory. And I've also used OWB and Wayfarer at the same time on Mac mini with 1GB... even though I haven't made any proper tests, but in my feeling Wayfarer doesn't require any more memory than OWB, I'd say it's even opposite. At least I haven't ran out of memory with Wayfarer yet... it feels that OWB gets drained on some pages more easily.

I have no idea about that :/ Peg1 was picky about memory modules and I was lucky to get a working 512M module from a friend in mid-00s, and haven't looked after them since.

I could tell you, Wayfarer like OWB run with 512 MB, but if you open many sites with graphics, both eat this 512 MB and the browser crash or it leave to show pictures.

The moment that MorpOS can support my X5000 AMD Videocard i would love to buy a copy.
If Hans de Ruiter could port his videodriver for OS4 to MorphOS (i am willing to pay for that) i think more X5000 users are going MorphOS.

hehe thats what 'they' said about 'modern' graphics cards under OS4.x too so I hope to see Wayfarer coming to OS4.x one day too (cough cough A-EON) ..of course might be a while considering Hyperion is more interested in spending money on lawyers than developers lately

Really good work. I like that they stripped down components that can be reused, a philosophy most devs should repeat.

For example Visual Studio IDE, started from a simple headless web client component library. Then they created a library to translate/ repair html into valid xml to process further.

Can you imagine using similar tools to create a universal shell based IDE, that uses JavaScript to pre process and create boilerplate code depending on language used then that updates the visual IDE.
