Also...

Donate to the perpetual IP litigation fund

Support a shell company director just trying to pull a few volunteers together and skimming off the top to keep the wolf from the door

Give to fund a summer law internship to help a confident young entitled and go getting individual to learn from a global leader in IT/IP litigation and seize the day (or the dream tech IP of their choice)

Only half joking!

... does that remind you of anyone? You know spinning failure and conflict as “experience”!

Still funny just the audacity of the man If you don’t learn from history you just end up repeating it!

The curse strikes again!

@Trekiej

I'm a little confused still about policy here.

Amigastore.eu offers digital download (ISO).

Yet just posted:

Quote:
We are a UK reseller and we are not allowed to offer any ISO as part of the sale. We are only allowed to sell AmigaOS 3.2 on CD-Rom or other physical media.

So...different policy based on location or what?

I don't think this account is speaking in behalf of amigastore.eu

@Ami603

I'm talking about those who ordered and received the ISO, not whatever that account stated.

@number6

I believe the iso was put online to avoid customers wait too much because of the high sales pitch.
I received my copy in less than few days and didn't have the online download link on my order.
Edit: as for your message, i may misunderstood you i'm sorry.

@Ami603

Yes, i noted talk of floppy disk distribution as well.

Clearly the dealers are doing everything within their means to satisfy customers.
Learning about the release a day ahead of time was clearly not enough time to prepare for such a response.

@number6

I bought the CD-Rom and no physical ROM for OS 3.2.
I have not dove into any download items for any OS except OS 3.1.4 and earlier.

The rest I guess is still up in the air.

Thanks to the honesty of the dealers we at least know more about why the distribution varies from country to country.

U.K. and Canada

So it appears North America and the U.K. (so far) don't have the ISO download option.

Update...

I decided to try out AmigaOS 3.2 through emulation before installing on my actual real A2000HD computer.

Emulating my A2000, it seems to work best with no GlowIcons.

Emulating an 68020 system with Picasso96 and UAEGFx, I can use GlowIcons and they look nice.

cpu_type 68020/68881 with 2 MB ChipRAM, 8 MB FastRAM, 8 MB graphics RAM.

A1200 Kickstart.rom

chipset AGA

Currently using a the following screenmode:
uaegfx: 640x480 32 bit BGRA

"Host" computer is my MicroA1 running AmigaOS 4.1 FE Update 2 and a very old PPC version of E-UAE.

So far, I am very impressed, even if I can't use GlowIcons on my A2000HD.
