The 'Amiga Team' needs to beat the Czech Republic on Friday to stand a chance of progressing to the knock out stage!

Tune in at 5pm British Summer Time (BST) to support your second team! Oh yeah, and Scotland v England might be worth a watch at 8pm too

@BigD

I've no idea what you're talking about, but if some male were to exhibit intimate body parts decorated with Amiga trademarks, I'd be pretty put off there, too.

I wasn't thinking of the PC brigade so much as my daughters. I try to teach them not to act that way, but to value modesty and chastity, which I think all people should exhibit. I guess that will mark me as some sort of horrible human being to pretty much everyone, so I'll shut up before I dig a bigger hole. I knew I shouldn't have commented on this to start with...

I guess you wont be allowing your daughters to watch the football then as the men these days wear shorts above the knee! Also, stay clear of the beach this summer with lockdown ending as some people will want to wear bikinis again and some men from Kazakhstan even wear mankinis!

Don't worry though as since you're state-side you have the perfect staycation away from all this 'soccer revelry'!

I mean each to their own mate but this is a public forum, like the beach and like the pub and like the football stands and you are going to see pretty girls in strappy tops from time to time!

The first look isn't lust, it's the second and third that is the issue. You can't always switch the channel when the producer of a live american football, baseball or basketball game switches to a pretty girl in the crowd either so it's on you and you alone how you cope with it for your own conscience and how you protect your family.

For the record, I have not encouraged the viewing of porn on this site nor would I do so. I hope you enjoy the match or not because you'll likely still be at work when us Europeans will already be getting ready for the weekend.

... Gareth Bale (Wales Captain) has a man-bun! Lock up your children, that ain't an acceptable hair style for a fella!!!

P.S. He also more shockingly audibly swore on live BBC TV tonight (before the water-shed 9pm enforced ban on profanity on UK TV) in his post-match pep talk in the middle of a circle of the Welsh players! He probably didn't expect the microphones to pick any of what was said in a closed circle but again, it's unfortunate if any children heard! At the end of the day, it's on us as parents to teach our kids what's unacceptable language to use just as they need to know that it is unacceptable to wear a bikini in most British pubs!

Would I stop them going into a computer game store or have a word with the shop staff if the poster/sticker below was on display in the window? No, I would expect my children to ask questions about the world around them (and it's a rather popular game rightly or wrongly) rather than I wrap them completely in cotton wool and then wonder why they go off the rails when they are eventually exposed to this stuff as young adults!

Sod chastity, being an almost full time male slut were some of the best years of my life.

Oh brothers,

our friend BigD, and possibly he's not alone in this lapse of judgement, doesn't seem to understand the difference between

enjoying a picture of a scantily clad young woman in private, or with close friends winking winking nudging nudging over a beer

and

excitingly posting a picture of a scantily clad young woman on a public vintage computing forum.

And if one can't discern between the two scenarios, then there's no point in further arguing.
Bestest of all regards,

/MEGA

@MEGA_RJ_MICAL

Your point nearly impacted but I was thinking about Borat and yesterday's Wales v Turkey game. Sorry

The girl in question chose to post that photo publicly, it is tasteful, NOT showing too much skin and represents the atmosphere of watching a Euros match at the local sports bar/pub. She is wearing Amiga 'boing ball'/Croatia team colours, is enjoying herself and is happy to share that moment with the world so what's not to like? I made no comment on her appearance beyond using her attire to demonstrate that it's like having an 'Amiga Team' at the Euros! You see people in the street every day (or did so before the pandemic) and while I acknowledge that the men might be feeling left out that I've used a photo of a girl, I quickly made amends and found a remarkable photo of our two intrepid Frieden brothers getting in on the fun!!

I hope you enjoy the two games tomorrow. I assume that you know what football is and notice things like movement, colours and shapes and the excitement that they bring?

...and if my Frieden picture in Post #19 won't load then right click and load it in a new tab. That seems to activate it. The bbcode0.com upload site seems a bit hit or miss here. Enjoy

Here it is again:

Go Croatia... Go Amiga!!!

Final score! Amiga/Croatia 3 : Scotland 1

Goodbye Scotland but hello to a prolonged Amiga football thread!

"Oh mighty Scotland, when will we see your like again!"

... at least you gave England a run for their money

... but move aside for Team Amiga vs Spain, Sweden, Poland or Slovakia next Monday 5pm BST!

I mainly watch Portugal matches, but other teams are amazing and surprising:
Like Czech, Denmark, Italy...

It's nice seeing the X1000 inspired dark grey/black chequered shirt of the 'Amiga Team' even if they are going out ...possibly. But may they be inspired by their mascot 'Mitchy the techno-dog' and raise their game!!!
