@ferrels

I found the motherboard with CPU and video. The day it was posted, it came with Linux. It did not say what distro.

The performance of RISC processors is often two to four times than that of CISC processors because of simplified instruction set. This architecture uses less chip space due to reduced instruction set. ... RISC processors can be designed more quickly than CISC processors due to its simple architecture.-from google

I do not sell anything. I am disabled. But one thing I learned from being a past Amiga owner does not to be locked into any CPU. 20 years of being locked in using the PPC was before the Amiga. The machines when available been overpriced and underpowered when compared to other computers. Basically the need to port Amiga OS to more CPU types.
A lesson from history is the state of Minnesota used to produce more potatoes than any other state. Until they figure out it was safer to grow more than 1 crop and they made more money.

Haiku is being ported to RISC-V also. That's where I'm in the process of jumping ship to. I'm not putting all of my eggs in one basket though. I have high hopes for WebAssembly outside the browser to make architectures and operating systems into faceless plumbing for getting things done instead of a self-contained ecosystem of software base.

Google's account of RISC being faster than CISC is often exaggerated. The larger instructions of RISC machines often have poor code density, reducing the efficiency of the code caches. This makes newer CISC machines much faster than their RISC counterparts. The x64 and 680x0 series CISC processors have excellent code density.

It's just a pity that the Apollo 68080 isn't suited for ASIC production yet because it's stuck at 100 MHz on an FPGA. I've got my design issues with certain aspects of its design, to be sure, but it seems to be the best way to get Amiga's software base back in action. PPC was a mistake mainly because of the drivers for the graphics cards and other peripherals having to be reinvented every time an operating system comes on the scene. Haiku is getting around this by using Linux device drivers for graphics and BSD drivers for some other subsystems.

Lots of old articles, people keep think of Intel as CISC CPU, but its more like hybrid,
And from Pentium6 they intruded micro code into Intel, (it’s like RISC instructions).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P6_(microarchitecture)

Code is converted into micro code, its similar to what compiler does, or JIT, but in hardware.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_shrink

Intel doing pretty well at shrink die size at least until 45nm in 2007, after that have struggled. markets highly combative between AMD and Intel, not sure you say the same about PowerPC
( Apple + IBM + Freescale (Motorola) = AIM alliance, cooperation not competition).
